YOUR ACCOMODATION
We have 22 bedrooms set across three floors. There is no division with who lives where but usually residents who are very frail tend to occupy the rooms on the ground floor.
Everything you need
All our rooms are well furnished. Many have en-suite but those few rooms that do not have on suite are situated very near to the toilet and bathroom.
Your bedroom furniture consists of: an appropriate bed suitable to your needs, double wardrobe, chest drawer, bedside table, over-bed table, and armchair.
There’s also a flat-screen TV for enjoying and watching your favourite programmes.
Your Room - Personalise it
We understand and fully aware that moving into a care facility like The Beeches will be a considerable transition bring along emotion and apprehension. We try our best to make this transition as easy as it possibly can be. The room is your accommodation and we advise you to personalise it. A few of your favourite pictures, small pieces of furniture and knick-knacks
Your room is your own personal space, which is why we encourage you to personalise your room if you like, by hanging your favourite pictures or bringing small pieces of furniture.
LOUNGE, DINNING ROOM
The dining room is on the ground floor – next door to the lounge. These are spacious rooms. These rooms always become hubs of conversation and laughter. Everyone who visits the Home tend to be drawn to these rooms , and the rooms are enjoyed by some of our very frail residents who usually venture out here to be amongst their friends, These rooms provides good opportunity for all to come together and socialise.
FOOD AND DRINK
The food is greatly appreciated by our residents. There are specific menus for each day but if you do not like anything on the menu, we will be happy to get you an alternative.
Of course, when, where and who you eat with is entirely up to you – your meals can be brought to your room, and friends and family can join you as often as you’d like (at a small charge).
Snacks, tea and coffee are available at other times of the day and evenings.
Birthdays and important dates are also celebrated with a party, however this is by choice if you choose not to celebrate we will respect your wishes.
